There was something so special about photographing these spring bridals at the Korakia Pensione and around Downtown Palm Springs.
Amelia wore a classic ivory satin dress with a front twist and waist cutout (Trinity) from The Label, paired with a Stetson hat and vintage cowgirl boots.
Not only did this wedding outfit match the Palm Springs energy but it also paired so groovily with the Morrocan architecture!
Whether you are a bride or groom, wedding portraits before the big day are the perfect way to feel prepared. Not only is this session a great way to reduce stress and feel comfortable but it will also give you time to work with your photographer to make magical photographs. You’re probably only going to wear your wedding attire a handful of times in your life, why not get as many gorgwous photos possible?
Wedding shoots allow us to slow down and get creative! There’s truly nothing worse than feeling rushed while taking wedding portraits on your special day. You might be itching to make it to cocktail hour to spend as much time possible with your friends and family and trust me, your photographer doesn’t want to take you away from that. We just understand how important these photos will be. I highly recommend setting aside another date to take all the portraits that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Wedding Portrait Tips:
Hair & Makeup: Make sure you love your hair & makeup! I highly recommend doing a trial with your hair and makeup artist the day of your engagement session or wedding session. Trials are a great way to kill two birds with one stone. It is SO important that you feel comfortable and confident!
Location: Choosing a session location can feel tricky, but don’t overthink it! This location could be your wedding venue or a special place in your relationship. Maybe that’s the bar you met at or a favorite park you frequent. I recommend visiting a place that is meaningful to you.
Timing: I always prefer photographing around sunrise or a couple of hours before sunset. These times a will give us that soft, dreamy lighting in our portriats!
