Lauren and Gabe inquired with me about their San Francisco engagement session and wedding, and I was over the moon. I love San Francisco and the bay area. After officially booking their wedding, I was so excited to meet them in person. I knew of Lauren because she is my friend Lexi Wilson’s sister. I knew if she were anything like Lexi then I would love her!
While driving cross country, Lexi and I stopped at their place and woke up early. Our first morning to take their engagement photos. It was brutal, but SO worth it. We went to this beautiful spot on the coast and hiked to this gorgeous view. We had the entire area to ourselves for photos. The session was a blast, and I am so happy we had the chance to connect before their wedding. California has some of the most breathtaking views, so capturing their engagement photos near San Francisco was amazing.
Unfortunately, their wedding has been postponed due to COVID, but I am so excited to celebrate them and capture their special day.
The next day we got breakfast – and coffee, of course – and went to the Golden Gate Bridge to take more photos. It is always so fun seeing how busy the city is and how gorgeous that area is. San Francisco is a gorgeous city, and every time I visit, I am more and more amazed at all that it has to offer. There is so much to explore and so many iconic places to take photos. I am so excited for Lauren and Gabe’s wedding next year, and I know it will be here before we know it. They are such a patient and kind couple, and I admire how they have made the best of all the situations thrown their way.
