As many of you know, my favorite place in the country is Palm Springs, California. I have always been so drawn to the dessert, the warmth, the palm trees, the inclusivity and the seclusion of this charming city right in between LA & San Diego. My first time visiting was in April 2018 on my way from LA to Coachella. My friends and I stopped here for lunch and to see the Moorten Botanical gardens. I immediately fell in love with the vibes and knew I would come back one day soon.
A few months later, in January 2019, my best friend, Amanda, and I took a trip from Virginia to Palm Springs to visit her grandma and explore more of the city. Amanda also had a massive pull to Palm Springs, so we lived it up and made the most of our time there.
Since then, I have visited many many more times, and it never seems to get old. Palm Springs is my escape whenever I need to get away for a little bit. This time, I decided to bring a wedding dress with me from one of my favorite local shops in Portland, A&Be Bridal Shop. They lent me the gorgeous gown, and I am so happy with how these images turned out. I immediately reached out to one of my closest friends, Amelia Edmondson, to model, and she was on board. We ran around Palm Springs, taking tequila shots and dancing to music. This session was such a blast, and I am so grateful for experiences just like this one. I cannot wait for the next time I am in Palm Springs, and I cannot wait to create more art in Souther California shortly.
I hope you love these portraits as much as I do!
