Photographing Scott and Jared’s Mount Tabor Anniversary Session in Portland, Oregon was such a dream. The hazy sunlight poured through the pine trees casting harsh beautiful light. This lighting was so much fun to play with in the background and made for the prettiest contrast. I am so happy I had the chance to meet these lovely humans and document this special time in their life! They were also generous enough to model some merchandise from the Human Rights Campaign for me to photograph!
Mount Tabor is the name of a volcanic cinder cone, the city park on the volcano, and the neighborhood of Southeast Portland that surrounds it, all in the U.S. state of Oregon. The name refers to Mount Tabor, Israel. It was named by Plympton Kelly, son of Oregon City pioneer resident Clinton Kelly. I had so much fun documenting this Mount Tabor Anniversary Session and cannot wait to come back to this park again!
