Columbia River Gorge Portraits

Alivia was asked to take some Columbia River Gorge portraits to be featured in Sage Magazine. When she asked me, I was so excited and honored to take these photos for her! We planned a beautiful shoot in Columbia River Gorge. I have always seen where you can see the dome in the background; however, I never knew where. After lots of Google Earth searching, we finally found it, and it did not disappoint. It was stunning and the perfect place to capture these photos. We parked our car and hiked up a tall hill with tons of stuff – food, their adorable dog Boeing, fresh fruit, a backdrop, outfit changes, and camera gear. We had a beautiful sunset as well. It is so lovely photographing friends because they are already comfortable in front of the camera. I am grateful to photograph Alivia and share her story for Sage Magazine.

Every single time I visit the Columbia River Gorge it always makes me so nostalgic. This is one of the first places I visited when I came to Oregon in 2018 and will never forget the memories I made. That was the trip that made me fall in love with this beautiful city and all that it has to offer.
