Photography aside, I love creating any type of art and find everyday things so beautiful. Some of my favorite things include morning walks through my neighborhood with coffee [iced vanilla latte with oat milk], taking trips to the Oregon coast, roasting s’mores around a campfire with friends, and stargazing by the windmills in Palm Springs every chance I get to go. It’s the little things that light a fire in my soul that keep me motivated to continue creating.
I was born and raised in Culpeper, Virginia, and moved to Portland, Oregon the summer of ’19. I road tripped out with a dear friend and it’s still one of my favorite memories to date. Driving through the midwest & the southeast deserts with the windows down blasting music - I don’t know what it was but I felt so genuinely happy and free.
Those moments are some I wish I had documented more. Especially on film and Super 8. I didn’t realize in those moments that they’d become so nostalgic just two years later. Time goes by in the blink of an eye and the only thing you have left to prove it are photos.
No matter how you plan your wedding, I want to be the one to remind you that photography should be your most exciting investment. Trust me, you’re not going to wanna skimp out. When the food and dessert are eaten, and your dress is hung up in the back of the closet, and your flowers die... there's going to be nothing to remind you what your day felt like besides images.
Your special day is going to fly by in the blink of an eye and you’re going to want beautiful photos to showcase all the little things that happened. Whether it’s grandma crying during your ring exchange or your best friend getting down on the dance floor. These precious moments from your happiest day deserve to be printed and remembered.
